1. The surface of forged steel balls used in ball mills must be free of cracks, slag inclusions, excessive combustion, severe folding, as well as hollowing and cracks. If a fire occurs, it should be reported to the relevant leaders in a timely manner.

2. The surface part of the forged steel ball is allowed to lack flesh, pits, and pits, and the depth of the forged steel ball shall not be greater than 3mm, and the depth of the forged steel ball shall not be greater than 3mm. The maximum allowable size of the diameter of the forged steel ball shall not be greater than 30% of the diameter of the steel ball.

3. The surface of forged steel balls used for decoration must be free of cracks, slag inclusions, overheating and folding, and defects such as pits, pits and depressions are not allowed.

1. The blanks of forged steel balls are weighed electronically and the weight must meet the requirements. The billet is not allowed to have bevels, inclusions and slags of cutting materials, which will affect the quality of the forged steel balls and will not allow to have depressions greater than 5mm. Repair all materials with residues and easily cause defects.

2. Check the surface quality of the forged steel ball with naked eyes.

3. Use a vernier caliper to measure the size and defects of the forged steel ball. During the measurement process, the defects of the forged steel ball should be avoided.

4. According to GB230-2004 "Metal Rockwell Hardness Test Method", the surface hardness of forged steel balls is measured at 4 points in each forged steel ball, and the arithmetic average value is calculated.
