Production technology of honing steel balls
1. Wire drawing (wire drawing): Use a wire drawing machine to draw wire to the required wire diameter;
2. Cold head (forging): Put the wire drawing into the steel ball cold head machine, and make the steel mold inside the machine into a spherical blank;
3. Light balls: Two cast iron grinding balls in the light ball machine will grind the cold balls under pressure to remove the outer ring belt and rod on the balls.
4. Soft ball: Two cast iron grinding ball discs in the soft ball machine grind the light ball embryo to the required ball diameter and surface roughness;
5. Heat treatment: Put the balls into a heat treatment furnace, quench and temper and carburize them to make the balls have a certain carburizing layer and have a certain hardness, toughness and crushing load;
6. Hard grinding: The grinding wheel in the grinder presses the heat-treated balls to remove the black oxide layer on the surface of the ball and correct the accuracy of the balls;
7. Refining/Polishing Cleaning: Refining: Grind the balls in the refining machine to achieve the accuracy and finish required for the finished product; Polishing Cleaning: Pour the balls into the polishing bucket and rotate them with a polishing cleaner. Add water to clean and brighten the sphere;
8. Appearance ion: Use artificial visual inspection to check whether there are any defects on the surface of the ground steel ball, and use a micrometer to measure the roundness, changes in batch diameter and surface roughness through a surface roughness meter as the final inspection;
9. Packaging: Apply steel balls/stainless steel balls/bearing steel balls with anti-rust oil, and then put them in a carton or woven bag.

1. Raw material quality standards
The material used for ink grinding balls is GCr15 bearing steel. On this basis, Qingdao Fite innovatively produced GCr15SiMn and martensitic stainless steel grinding balls with better wear resistance. 2. Standards for dimensional accuracy and geometric accuracy of grounded steel balls
Grinding steel balls with a diameter of 1.2~12.7mm, the diameter change of steel balls is ≤25μm; batch diameter change ≤50μm; spherical error ≤25μm; specification value ±150μm (can be prepared according to user requirements)
