Main features: high hardness, no breakage, wear resistance, and no roundness. In cement plants, mining, power plants, chemicals and other industries, the application effect is very good. The overall hardness is high, the surface hardness can reach 55-65HRC, the volume hardness can reach 50-63HRC, and the hardness gradient is evenly distributed. The impact toughness of forged grinding balls is higher than 12j/cm2. The crushing rate is low, and the crushing rate is more than three times that of ordinary cast grinding balls. The number of ball impacts is greater than 20,000 times, and the actual crushing rate is not greater than 1%. From beginning to end, the steel ball has no deformation, no deformation or deformation.

2. The characteristics of forged steel and hot-rolled steel balls are as follows:

(2) Internal compactness: Forged from round steel, avoiding defects in casting. It has a large internal density and high-precision particle size, which enhances the ball's drop resistance and impact toughness, thereby reducing the ball's breakage rate.

 

(3) Dry grinding and wet grinding: Because the high-quality alloy steel independently developed by our company and new high-efficiency wear-resistant materials, the alloy elements are proportional and rare elements are added to control the alloy content. Chromium greatly improves its corrosion resistance. Considering that most mines are wet-ground, this steel ball is more suitable for its working conditions.

 

3. If a semi-self-grinder is used, a ball with a diameter of 100-150 mm can not only reduce unit consumption, but also improve processing capacity. However, due to the defects in the casting process, the fracture rate of the steel ball is much higher than that of the forged ball.

5. Comparison of wear resistance:

 

(1) Different genes: Forged steel balls are high-quality steel, and cast steel balls are scrap iron;

 

(2) The surface of the cast ball has gates, sand holes, and ring belts, and the surface of the forged ball is smooth; the surface quality seriously affects the deformation of the ball during grinding. Since the surface quality of forged balls is better than that of cast balls, it is not easy to deform during use.

 

(3) The impact toughness of the forged ball is greater than 12, while the cast ball is only 3-6, which determines that the crushing rate of the forged ball is better than that of the cast ball.

 

(4) Cast balls are suitable for mills with diameters of 1.5-3.8m, while forged balls are suitable for mills with diameters of 1.5-11m or above.

 

(5) Cast balls are only suitable for dry grinding, while forged balls have inherent corrosion resistance due to their excellent characteristics - high-quality steel, so both dry grinding and wet grinding are suitable.
